Donations instead of gifts: We are supporting “Kleine Riesen Nordhessen” with €5,000.

Last year, we made a conscious decision to forego Christmas gifts for our customers and do some good instead. Under the motto “Donations instead of gifts,” we are supporting the work of Kleine Riesen Nordhessen with a donation of €5,000 this Christmas.
The symbolic handover of the donation took place on February 6, 2026.

Since 2014, Kleine Riesen has been an outpatient pediatric palliative care team that accompanies terminally ill children and adolescents and their families on their challenging journey – providing medical, nursing, and psychosocial care until the very end.

With four doctors and five nurses, the team is on call around the clock and visits families whenever necessary. This enables young patients to remain in their familiar surroundings – something that is very important to many families.

The Little Giants see themselves as a reliable anchor in a time that is often marked by worry, fear, anger, and grief for children, parents, and siblings. It is particularly important to take an individual look at the needs of each child and their family.

The service area covers the entire administrative district of Kassel.

We are delighted to be able to contribute to this valuable work with our donation and would like to thank Kleiner Riesen Nordhessen for their tireless commitment to seriously ill children and their families.
